Mohali, India, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Salon management software now offers more than 40 live integrations so beauty and wellness businesses can run checkout, client marketing and scheduling from one system.

Salonist, an online salon management software for the beauty and wellness industry, today announced that it has added an ecosystem of integration capabilities into its software. The release provides Salonist integration with different payment gateways, marketing solutions and calendar applications, so the owners of beauty businesses can use only one application for managing their business processes. More than 40 integrations are live today across a customer base of over 15,000 salons and spas worldwide.

For anyone who works as a receptionist in a busy salon, the routine is familiar. There is a separate system for payments; the appointment calendar is something totally different. Marketing emails are created in yet another software solution, in most cases via exporting Excel tables. And half the appointments come in through channels that never quite sync with the master schedule. Salonist built this expansion specifically to cut down on that kind of daily friction.

Payments That Don't Slow Down the Front Desk

Checkout is often the last impression a client has before they leave, and it shouldn't be the clunky part of the visit.

Fewer Systems, Faster Transactions

With the new payment integrations, including Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Authorize.Net, Tap Payment, Ziina, Network Payments, UPayments, KNET, Tabby and Tamara, owners can receive payments right through Salonist itself. There is no need for an additional checkout system to function alongside it. All transactions that are made are automatically recorded in the customer's account and integrated into the sales report of the day, so there are fewer tasks to do at the end of the day. The same salon POS software also supports Stripe, Clover, and Pine Labs card terminals for in-person checkout.

Card details are handled by the connected payment gateway rather than stored inside Salonist, and the platform holds PCI DSS, SOC, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance certifications, so salons take digital payments without absorbing the compliance burden themselves.

Marketing That Uses What Salons Already Know About Their Clients

Most salons already have the information they need to bring clients back. It is just sitting in the appointment history, unused. Salonist now connects to Mailchimp, GetResponse, and SMTP for email; WhatsApp through Twilio, Interakt, AiSensy, and Zoko for direct messaging; and Meta and TikTok pixels for tracking and attributing ad performance.

Turning Appointment History into Outreach

The new integrations tap directly into that data. Using salon marketing automation, a salon can send out a birthday discount offer, remind someone it has been six weeks since their last colouring visit, or send an instant thank you note after a visit without pulling any lists manually or switching platforms. Because the messages are tied to actual visit history, they tend to read as personal rather than as a mass blast, which matters more than most owners realise when it comes to repeat business.

Keeping Every Appointment on the Same Calendar

Some clients go straight to a salon's website. Others find a business through a search engine or social media. A few still just call.

One Calendar for Every Way Clients Reach the Salon

The new integration features of Salonist ensure that everything is brought together in one calendar. Reserve with Google captures appointments made directly from Google Search, while WordPress, Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce and Weebly connections pull appointments in from the salon's own website, and Google Calendar keeps staff schedules synchronised. Each entry appears immediately in the same the front desk is already using. That gets rid of one of the most prevalent problems in this business: duplicate entries and double bookings created by calendars that are not connected to each other. Because each integration also removes a separately licensed tool, salon owners reviewing  across vendors can weigh consolidation as part of their total cost.

"A lot of salon owners didn't sign up for this business expecting to also manage a stack of disconnected software," said Julia Ching of Salonist. "What we're trying to do here is get all of that working together quietly in the background, so owners and their staff can spend their energy on clients instead of admin work."

This change reflects the future direction of the salon and spa industry in general. Customers want to pay digitally, receive personal follow-up, and schedule appointments through whichever channel they find first. By combining all these processes into a single network, Salonist seeks to provide smaller, individual salons with some of the advantages previously enjoyed only by large chain organisations.

The integrations are live for existing Salonist customers now, and the company plans to introduce more partner platforms in the coming months. Owners of salons and spas interested in learning more can review the or contact the support team.
