ATLANTA, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DLH Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DLHC) (“DLH” or the “Company”), a leading provider of digital, engineering, and scientific solutions for health and defense missions, today announced that it has been awarded a task order to design, develop, and pilot a data governance framework for secure access to controlled biomedical research data by the National Institutes of Health (“NIH”).

Under this task order, DLH will serve as a technical advisor to harmonize NIH and federal data policies and integrate governance workflows across biomedical data platforms, piloting a data management approach within the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (“NHLBI”) and at least one other NIH Institute or Center which could serve as a roadmap for NIH-wide adoption. DLH will incorporate security, privacy, data rights, and artificial intelligence (“AI”) governance requirements where applicable, and collect performance metrics related to usability, compliance, interoperability, and stakeholder satisfaction.

“This award expands our role as a technical and strategic advisor to NIH and brings together DLH’s expertise in biomedical research, data governance, and secure digital solutions,” said Brooke Pierce, President of DLH’s Health business group. “We believe this work will strengthen our foundation for pursuing future enterprise-scale modernization opportunities as NIH evaluates broader adoption of the framework.”

This task order represents new work for DLH and has a total value of $2 million over an eighteen-month period of performance.
